Today started out wonderful! It took me a long time to get G&G out the door today but after pestering them we all agreed to go to Cherry Park. I met a dog 'just like me' and we played and ran for the ball/frisbee together. Great fun! and then......
we came home and Gma wouldn't let me in cause I was muddy and then I heard that dreaded bath water running and so endured yet another bath. Since Gma thought my nails were so dirty she thought it was a good time to cut them - OUCH DARN IT ANYHOW!!!! I really did try and stand still but moved and - oh dear - we had this red stuff (Gma said blood) everywhere and my toenail hurt like the dickens! She really was sad and we snuggled in the corner 
for a while until the bleeding stopped. Then she let me lay in front of the fire to dry and gave a LOTS of treats. I don't think we'll be cutting nails again for a while which is fine with me.
