Ahhhh- life is good

I am sure enjoying the nice warmth by Gpa's chair recently - he was concerned that I got too hot the other day by this amazing heat - guess my hair started to smell hot. I did feel a little strange but it just felt too good. kind of like Gma burshing me - the new brush feels sooooo good I just don't want her to stop.
Am I getting lazy? I no longer feel it necessary to get Gma up - she just gets up too early. As the mornings get colder I just don't want to leave my 'pillow-up' until about 7:30 and then they want me to go outside - yuk - its wet/cold and the squirrels aren't up yet. And....that Gma has to wipe my feet every time I come inside so it's just easier to stay inside until the sun comes up. She is pleased with me for lifting each foot so she can dry it - keeping these humans happy is a full-time job. I'm glad there is a roof over the wood porch cause I can stay out of the rain and lay on a nice 'pillow-up' outside or I can rest on the porch by the kitchen door so I don't miss anyone coming to visit.
We still go running or for a walk every day so I get plenty of exercise and sure know how to catch the frisbee now. My favorite toy in the back yard is the soccer ball and I can now catch it in my mouth in mid-air. Gpa & I have some great games (I would be a great goalee - that ball doesn't get by me!) Sometimes G&G and Casey and I play a game of keep-away.....I usually get the ball and keep it away but they are tricky and it's hard to watch all of them at once.
I met a friend at the dog park yesterday and we had fun running for the ball - until I decided I wanted his ball instead of mine - his made a squeaky noise and mine didn't - so ---we had to come home. Until later - soft-bark (I'm having to learn how to use an 'inside voice/no-bark' and it's really hard.
