Traveling with Snowbirds and G and G

We have a new adventure everyday! we are travling in the house on wheels and I'm a bit concerned we can't find our way home - we've come about 1000 miles and have been gone for 8 days now. I mark a spot whenever we stop and watch the road when Gpa drives. We drove for 7 hrs the other day and I stood most of the day looking out the front window. When my legs get really tired I climb into Gma's lap - its a tight fit but it works ok. When we stop at the end of the day my favorite place is laying on the coach with Gpa. First we went to the ocean and I found a pumpkin on the beach - it rolled like a ball and I was even able to pick it up in my mouth. Gpa has a new game - he rides his bike and I run along side him until we both get tired.

Then we went into the city by San Francisco and there were so many new smells around us I had a hard time not barking at all the new things. I really get in trouble when I bark. mostly I like to travel like this and be with G&G all day. things I don't like..... dark holes we drive into (tunnels), roads that go over water with big shadows overhead (bridges).

I sure hope Gpa knows how to find his way back home so my master will know where to find me. Today we were in a field of trees filled with oranges - those on the ground sure smelled strange - I get to run through the trees (Bakersfield CA). They say we're headed to the desert tomorrow - Laughlin NV (whatever that is). I'll keep writing when Gma has internet so you'll know where we are.

Thanks for the update. Sounds like she is taking care of you guys. I wish I was there. She sure does like to watch the road and yes she gets scared around over passes and tunnels. I hope things are to much of a burdon. I can't believe that one pic of her up on the couch. Are you laxing on your rules? The time when it will be tough is when it starts to get warm out and she sheds. I don't want you to get all that hair in you R.V.
Hope to catch up soon.
Love,
ryan

ahh yes - rules getting a bit loose - we did stop her from coming to sleep with us in the middle of the night!!! she took up the whole bed and pushed us out.... she is allowed to use the couch (sleeping in 'Gpa's spot). Doesn't use the pillow-up here - too confined. we're managing with the 'hair' issue.
