FREE FREE AT LAST

I am enjoying new found freedom - THE HOOD CAME OFF. Well, at least during the day (I still have to wear it at night). G&G let me bathe myself as long as I stay away from my stomach. It felt so good to wipe my face on a damp rug and clean my paws. I don't like to have it back on at night but Gma sez it will only be about 2 more days and then we go have the stitches out (whatever that means). I don't think I like the sound of that.










And then today (Sunday) we went for a long ride through the forest (Mult Falls) and hiked through the colored/fallen leaves up to a high bridge with the mist from the waterfall blowing in my face. I had to be on the leash but that was sure better than that hood. I could smell everything along the trail as we walked through the gold/yellow/red/brown leaves. It was kind of a misty day and the fog filtered through the trees. It was just totally AWESOME to be out. And then we all had an ice cream cone (I shared Gma's) What a special day! We are all getting cabin fever and I so yearn to chase a frisbee again - it's been a long 10 days. I just need to RUN again! I wish Gma had taken a camera to take some pictures - we sure had fun. We are disappointed to find a "NO PET" sign on the Parkrose running park - that one was my favorite.
