SO MANY PARKS

Everyday we try a different park - lets see if I can remember them all.
Parkrose (at the high school) fenced - no rules - not really a dog park so isn't used very often.
Lents park (corner of park - no fence and strict rules but  I can run - lots of friends there.  One man got a $600 fine for not having his dogs on the leash just outside the 'no leash' posts.  G&G are very careful there.  We walk all around the park with the leash before & after my run.
Lynch Wood (fenced on 2 sides with a forest of trees and SQUIRRELS next to it - lots of friends.  Just a shame I can't chase those squirrels.  G&G have me walk with leash through the forest before they let me run - that is really hard with squirrels running all around.  But, I forget about them when we get to the running area.
Cherry Park (fenced on 2 sides) limited hours to run and not as big of an area as others - quite a few barking friends.
1000 acres!!! - FUN - no fence, no limits, water, new parking area for all who come to run.  I only chat with friends as we pass on the trail - there is just so much other exploring to do and I am anxious to get to the water.  G&G also like to walk in this park.
Walking around the neighborhood - leash only - We walk about 2 miles through around the neighborhood.

When I get home I take a lot of naps and don't really chase the squirrels  up the tree anymore cause I'm too tired.

I am really enjoying these posts. You make me laugh Grandma. I love the fact that you are talking as if scout was the first person. I like when you said Grandma and Grandpa walk so slow and I just keep exploring. That 1000 acres is great isn't it? Is it true that scout jumped in the Bath on her own?
