When the loud clock strikes 10 every night I go 'pillow up' without being told. And, in the early morning if Gma isn't ready to get up when I nudge her at 6 I go back to sleep.
We also went walking with the leash through the park by my master's house - it was ok but they wouldn't let me chase the squirrels. The leash is now a necessary evil I deal with to get to travel and I've found when I don't pull they are not using the one that goes over my nose. I like to hear the word 'heel' since I like being next to G&G anyhow.
Gma cut my toenails! It didn't hurt, I didn't fuss at all and it was much better than going back to that horrible place where they put a chain around my neck. I even let her file them so they weren't so sharp.
We have a new visitor for a few days - my friend Casey came to stay with G&G as he starts his new job in Gresham. He is excited and I was very excited to see him again.
WHOA! I'm hearing a new sound when I bark at the door - YIKES! G&G used to hollar "Scout NO" but now I just hear this unexpected sound and stop right away - it's some kind of a loud CLICK and it stops me dead in my tracks trying to figure out what it is. It certainly gets my attention. And Gma has a new command, "uhhhh uhhhh uhhhh" when I try and go behind the curtains at night. I don't really mind since they let me look out the window when the curtains are open - my favorite thing is watching the cats and squirrels cross the street to our back yard.
until next time - Scout
