walking with a leash

Today I learned how to heal - walking along-side Gma-Gpa with a leash.  It isn't my favorite thing to do but it works and they give me treats when I don't pull on the leash.  Strange - they walk with the leash wrapped around their back - how do they expect me to go forward with a leash behind them?  Hmmmm.  but it seems to work and walking is much easier for all of us.  And, Gma had to give me a bath the other night - ho hum!  I got all dirty in the back yard and a bath was the only way to clean me up - those pesky squirrels love to taunt me and I run through the dirt/mud to get at them.  One sat on top of the barn roof and chattered - now how in the world can I get up there!  I'm enjoying my stay at Gma-Gpa's - they don't move very fast but its ok - Gpa is a great soccer player and we're having fun.
